Business Intelligence Analyst – Finance (Karachi)

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Finance department in Karachi. In this role you will transform our current manual, delayed monthly reporting process into a fully automated, timely, and insightful system that supports strategic decision‑making across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated monthly financial reporting solutions using Power BI.
• Write efficient SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from our finance databases.
• Build interactive dashboards and visualisations that present key financial metrics to stakeholders.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across all reports.
• Provide ad‑hoc analysis and insights to support budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Finance and other finance team members to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Document reporting processes, data models, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Hands‑on experience building reports and dashboards in Power BI.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and strong communication skills to convey analytical findings to non‑technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently on‑site in Karachi and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
